Mini Biography:

Marco Morante has been designing in Los Angeles since 2000. Marco has created garments for Fergie, Santo Gold, Black Eyed Peas, Paris Hilton, Gabrielle Union, Ali Landry. As a stylist he has designed for Fergie’s Duchess Tour, The Lil Wayne Show Tour, and 5 seasons of American Idol music videos. MarcoMarco and 1639 Studios are home to a lively group of hand selected artists in the fields of hair, makeup and styling as well as a full wardrobe closet, hair salon, photo studio and boutique. Here he creates all of his designs. He also offers a platform to a very small number of young designer/artists who wish to both sell their wares and gain quick media attention. Marco has designed costumes for film and theatrical productions including the LA and NY productions of Ann E. Wrecksick. His recent works include Ru Paul’s Drag Race, where he appears as a consultant to the contestants various collaborations with choreographer Rande Dorn and Grisha Coleman, directors, Joseph Kahn, Shane Drake, Kristin Hanggi, Michael Wilson, Gavin Bowden and Eric Heimbold, and artists Rebecca Riverside, James St. James and Rick Castro.
