Mini Biography:
From his modest beginnings as a film projectionist in his hometown of Ann Arbor Michigan, to his award-winning work in Los Angeles; Michael Lynch has recently been exploding onto the film world.Michael Lynch attended film school at Columbia College of Chicago where the institution’s eclectic, urban environment inspired the creation of Burden. Upon graduation, he moved to Los Angeles, CA with his long-time girlfriend Kristine Gregg. Recently, his cinematic work has taken him into political activism as Producer and Cinematographer of seven Barack Obama shorts for the Inspiration of Barack: Yes We Can film series, which have been screened nationwide to enormous acclaim and can now be found on itunes. In October of 2008 Help Wanted directed by Teo Guardino won Best Narrative at the Elevate Film Festival where Michael preformed the roles of Cinematographer/Producer. Help Wanted was also an official selection at the Cinequest film festival and San Luis Opisbo International Film Festival in March and is touring the festival circuit throughout 2009.
